curatify ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Kashyap LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit curatify.io, install the curatify Shopify app at app.curatify.io, or contact us for support.

Information we collect

Account information. Name, email address, store name, and authentication data when you install the app or register for an account.

Billing information. Subscription plan, billing history, and payment status. Payment card details are collected and processed by Shopify Billing or Stripe, Inc. — we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Shopify store data. With your authorization via the Shopify App Store, we access collection, product, and inventory data needed to sort products in your collections, including product titles, variant stock levels, collection membership, and sort positions.

Usage data. Log data, device/browser type, pages viewed, feature usage, and support communications.

Communications. Messages you send to us via email, contact forms, or support channels.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the curatify service
  • Sort Shopify collections based on inventory and your configured rules
  • Process subscriptions and payments
  • Send transactional emails (account, billing, security, product updates)
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • Improve product performance, security, and reliability
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where GDPR applies, we process data based on: (1) contract — to deliver the service you subscribed to; (2) legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, and product improvement; (3) consent — where required for optional communications; and (4) legal obligation.

Service providers

We share information with trusted processors only as needed to operate curatify:

  • Shopify — app platform, billing, and store data access
  • Stripe — payment processing where applicable
  • Cloudflare — CDN, security, and hosting
  • Google Tag Manager — tag management on the marketing site, where enabled

Processors are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

Shopify app permissions

curatify is installed via the Shopify App Store with scoped API permissions. We only access the collection and inventory data required to sort products. We do not modify your theme, process customer orders, or access customer personal data beyond what is needed for collection merchandising.

Cookies & tracking

The marketing site may use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality, analytics, and tag management. The curatify application may use session cookies to maintain your login and improve the product. You can control browser cookies through your device settings; disabling cookies may limit certain features.

Data retention

We retain account and connected data while your subscription is active. After cancellation or uninstall, data is retained for up to 90 days to allow export or reactivation, then deleted or anonymized unless a longer period is required by law.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest for stored data. Access to production systems is restricted.

International transfers

curatify is based in the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate, with appropriate safeguards where required.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA — we do not sell personal information.

Children

curatify is a business service not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
