How does out-of-stock sorting work?
curatify listens for Shopify inventory webhooks. When a product sells out in an enabled manual collection, it moves to the bottom. When inventory returns, it restores the product to its original position or the top of the collection — based on your Settings.
Do I need to edit my theme?
No. curatify sorts collections server-side via the Shopify API. Works with every Shopify theme, including headless storefronts, with zero theme code changes.
Which collections are supported?
Manual collections only. Collections using automated Shopify sort rules (best selling, price, alphabetical, date) are shown as blocked in the app until they use Manual sort in Shopify Admin.
Can I pin products to the top of a collection?
Yes, on Growth and Pro plans. Pin up to 5 products per collection on Growth, or unlimited on Pro. Pinned products stay at the top while sold-out items still move to the bottom.
Does curatify slow down my store?
No. Sorting runs server-side. Your storefront loads collection data from Shopify as usual — curatify updates product order before customers see it, with zero client-side overhead.
